• Targeted 20% net reduction of active portfolio, cost saving and unlocking cash.

Regional Supply Chain Category Planning Director Feb 2015 – Dec 2021

Leader of the Innovation Planning, Finished Goods Sourcing Strategy, Manufacturing Strategy, Business Continuity program and Long-Term Capacity Planning of regional sites. • Led Technology & Engineering program for Nametrub sites, revised the blueprint for Engineering organizations and identified 137 headcount redundancy opportunities with full agreement of site leaders.

Plant Director Deo Leeds Factory, Unilever UK Jun 2012 – Jan 2015

Leader of Unilever’s global largest site producing aerosol and roll-ons with a production history of 700+ million units worth €900m Turnover in 2013 with a very high customer service performance and well known with its high quality in production. Leader of Deo Global Virtual Site program.

• Developed 5 years master plan considering growing demand with export volumes, new high speed line technology, new site layout plans and strong innovation agenda.

• Led new high-speed line investment project team and commissioning successfully completed in 2013 which had key strategic importance for Leeds Factory and Unilever globally.

• Initiated Quality and Production line performance workshops within GVS in collaboration with global sites and global SC teams. Delivered good results and improvements for global Unilever Deo KPIs.

• Raised Factory indirect cost saving project resulting in €1m saving.

Plant Director Gebze Factory Jan 2006 – May 2012

Leader of one of the top 5 factories in global Unilever, Home and Personal Care (HPC) Category, with 400,000 tons annual production volume, 350 labor force, €30m Operating Cost and annual capital investment of €10 m. Leader of Regional Virtual Site program covering total 6 Laundry Powders Detergent factories producing 500,000 tons per year.

• Achieved inventory reduction 2-3 days on hand, year on year with the introduction of consignment stocks concept first time.

• Delivered saving program with targets of 5% Turnover, managed via Supply Chain saving workshops with the support of global Supply Chain teams. Programs rolled out to Regional Virtual Sites with the support of Global Supply Chain teams delivering million Euros saving.

• Launched and led capacity increase project program of the site and achieved 30% improvement. Full automation of production departments has been completed on time and within budget.

• Received JIPM’s TPM Special Award in 2008 and TPM World Class Award by the end of 2012 with great teamwork in Gebze Factory. First time in Turkey in our industry.

Planning Manager Jan 2003 – Dec 2005

Demand and Supply Planning of Foods, Home Care and Personal Care, excluding Ice Cream only.

• Delivered implementation of SAP APO applications, which was a great change management experience.

Production Manager Gebze Factory Jan 1997 – Dec 2002

Leader of Home and Personal Care Liquids Production departments, total 200,000 tons per year.

• Improved ramp up and achieved efficiency targets of Personal Care plant, which had recently moved from Elida to Gebze site.

• Initiated and achieved radical 30% labor reduction project in Home Care Liquids plant, without any losses in line efficiencies and without any business continuity issues.

• Led end to end Supply Chain project of Domestos production onshoring for Unilever Turkey with full Filling Line and Process investment, delivering project cost saving targets in the range of million Euros.

Engineering Manager Gebze Factory Jan 1991 – Dec 1996

• Led Laundry Powders Detergent investment projects for capacity increase and automation.

• Designed and implemented first of its kind pneumatic conveying systems for major powder raw materials, with locally developed knowhow.
